  • CHANGE ENGINE OIL AND FILTER. LUBRICATE ALL CHASSIS FITTINGS. PERFORM COMPLETE SAFETY INSPECTION INCLUDING, STEERING, SUSPENSION, BRAKING, FUEL, COOLING, EXHAUST , AND LIGHTING SYSTEMS. TEST DRIVE FOR PERFORMANCE.
  • SET TO 35 PSI
  • TECHNICIAN DRAINED THE COOLANT FROM THE WATER PUMP DRAIN PORT. REMOVED THE BOLTS FROM THE WATER PUMP COVER AND FASTENED THE SPECIAL TOOL TO KEEP THE TIMING. REMOVED THE LEAKING WATER PUMP AND INSTALLED THE NEW WATER PUMP WITH NEW GASKETS AND O-RINGS. FILLED THE VEHICLE BACK UP WITH COOLANT AND BLED THE COOLING SYSTEM OF AIR. CHECKED FOR LEAKS – OK. TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND RECHECKED FOR LEAKS – OK. VEHICLE DRIVES GREAT.
  • TECHNICIAN HOOKED VEHICLE UP TO SCAN TOOL AND THE DATA LINK CONNECTOR WAS NOT WORKING. CHECKED FUESES AND FOUND THE FUSE WAS MISSING. INSTALLED A 15a FUSE AND THE DATA LINK CONNECTOR IS NOW WORKING. RETRIEVED TROUBLE CODES P0455: EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS SYSTEM LARGE LEAK AND P0650: MIL MALFUNCTION. PINPOINT TESTING FOUND THE PURGE VALVE SOLENOID HAS FAILED. CUSTOMER APPROVED REPLACING THE FAILED PURGE VALVE SOLENOID, 02/04/2021 @ 11am.
  • TECHNICIAN REMOVED THE FAILED PURGE VALVE SOLENOID AND INSTALLED A NEW PURGE VALVE SOLENOID. CLEARED TROUBLE CODES AND TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AFTER ALL REPAIRS AND SERVICES WERE COMPLETE. VEHICLE DRIVES GREAT AND THERE IS NO MORE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AT THIS TIME.
  • TECHNICIAN REMOVED THE FRONT WHEELS, FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS, FRONT WORN OUT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS AS WELL AS THE FRONT, LEFT WORN OUT WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY. INSTALLED THE NEW FRONT, LEFT WHEEL HUB AND DESCALED THE RIGHT SIDE WHEEL HUB AND LUBRICATED BOTH FRONT CALIPER CARRIERS AND SLIDE PINS. INSTALLED NEW FRONT BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS AND BLED THE BRAKE FLUID OF AIR. CHECKED FOR LEAKS – OK. TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND RECHECKED FOR LEAKS – OK. VEHICLE DRIVES GREAT AND THERE IS NO MORE SQUEAKING.
  • UPON ARRIVAL, TECHNICIAN NOTICED THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. CUSTOMER APPROVED DIAGNOSIS OF CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, 02/04/2021 @ 9:05am. TECHNICIAN NOTICED THAT THE DASH INFO INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE IS DUE FOR AN OIL SERVICE. CUSTOMER APPROVED OIL CHANGE OVER THE PHONE, 02/04/2021 @ 10:24am. WHILE TEST DRIVING THE VEHICLE TECHNICIAN NOTICED A SQUEAKING NOISE FROM THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL. PUT VEHICLE ON LIFT AND FOUND THE WHEEL BEARING/HUB WAS DAMAGED AND HAD SO MUCH PLAY THAT IT DAMAGED THE FRONT LEFT BRAKE ROTOR. WE RECOMMENDED TO THE CUSTOMER TO REPLACE THE WORN OUT FRONT LEFT WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY AS WELL AS REPLACING THE FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS. CUSTOMER APPROVED, 02/04/2021 @ 11am.TECHNICIAN NOTICED THAT THE WATER PUMP IS LEAKING. CUSTOMER APPROVED OF REPLACING THE LEAKING WATER PUMP, 02/04/2021 @ 1pm.

  • REPLACED FAILED STARTER AND TESTED. STARTER WORKS WELL AND CURRENT DRAW IS WITHIN SPEC.
  • REPLACED LEAKING OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT. CLEANED AND RECHECKED- NO MORE OIL LEAK FROM OIL PRESSURE SENSOR. TECHNICIAN DID NOTE TIMING CHAIN COVER GASKET IS LEAKING OIL.
  • SET TO 35 PSI
  • TECHNICIAN TESTED THE STARTER AND IT TESTED BAD. CUSTOMER WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE STARTER. TECHNICIAN ALSO NOTICED THAT THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH IS LEAKING AND IT IS PLACED RIGHT ABOVE THE STARTER, WHICH MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE STARTER FAILING. CUSTOMER APPROVED REPLACING THE LEAKING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH, 12/15/2020 @ 3PM.
