They honored my AAA oil change discount at $69 and that got me a full synthetic oil change, tire rotation, and a 40 point inspection and on top of all of that they detailed, vacuumed, and polished my car for free!! After three failed diagnostics with other repair shops, I went to Continental Motors. They were confident, professional, and on time/price with their estimates. It appears they diagnosed it the first time and repaired the problem. I am very happy with my experience and I will use them (first) next time.

Continental Motor Works does excellent work. They have been our “go to” place for regular car maintenance and vehicle problems for many years. They always give you prior notice and estimates of any work needed. They provide a shuttle service on request.

The van broke down on the freeway in San Luis Obispo. I called a tow and asked them to send me to the best place in town. They sent me to Continental Motor Works where I met the owner John, a good trustworthy guy. Turns out I needed a new alternator. They had me back on the road in a few hours, plus he topped off my engine oil and gave me some pointers on maintenance I could do myself at home. It’s been running great since. Much appreciated CMW!

I own a Volvo that was having a problem. I had taken it to the dealership in town. They “diagnosed “ it and did expensive repairs that did not fix the problem. They offered no apology or recommendation for not fixing car. At continental they diagnosed the problem and their experience knew the origination of the problem. The explanation was clear and the fix has been definitive. I will definitely take the car back to them in the future.

The work done to my car was exceptional. They fixed mistakes made on my car done by another shop at no extra cost. After my car was finished they washed my car at no extra charge. They were very nice and helpful. They were able to look at our brake issue last minute and perform the work. They are honest and thoughtful as they recommended to wait a day to get calipers too on hand to make sure they had them if needed. Turns out they did not need it and were able to make the old ones work. They could have just used the new parts but did not overcharge for nothing thank for that. They also waived some labor time to look at the issue as it was pretty straightforward. Got AAA 1

Very quick and efficient work by the Continental Motor Works team. I called towards the end of the day and they were able to get me in the next morning to get my battery replaced. They also allowed me to leave my car overnight at the lot the night I called since I had already jumped it and couldn’t turn it off without risking my failed battery dying again.
